How was everyone's weekend? I saw Doctor Sleep, which was good but not great. That might be ideal because people who were hoping to enjoy it won't be disappointed and people who have been waiting to dunk on this movie since before the book hit stores will find enough to hang their I told you so's on

    So everyone is happy!

I had to google that. I had no idea there was a sequel to Shining.

I've been telling people to go see Parasite, but it's an uphill battle.

    - "Oh, no, I don't like horror movies".

    - It's a social satire.

-"Is it? I thought it was a horror movie, you know, on account of the title"

    - Nope. Social satire.

    -"Is it violent?"

    -Well, a bit.

    -"Oh, I don't like violence".

    - But you loved Game of Thrones, and this is way less violent than that!

    - "Yeah, but I dunno, it's not my cup of tea."

    - It's the subtitles, isn't it?

    - "You know which movie I really want to see?"

    - What?

    - "The one made by Quentin Tarantino, what's it called already?"

Just changed strings on my Strat and my Guild acoustic. One of my cats loves playing with loose strings, but not any string, no siree. They have to be brand new. Old strings are too smelly, I reckon.

Yesterday, while talking to wifey, I realized that we've been together longer than my parents. I went "holy shit"!

My parents were together for 20 years and then they divorced. But, in my head, that was, like, a really fucking long time, man! They were together forever! But nope. Funny how we perceive time, eh?

This made me guffaw: THIS ONE DETAIL ABOUT ‘WATCHMEN’ IS DRIVING ME NUTS

Jeff, since you're a fan of the show, I thought you would like to read it too.

The thing that is driving me nuts is actually the idea of Vietnam as a single state with 95 million residents and only two senators.

Parasite was the best movie of the year until Star Wars.

California has about 40 million residents. Wyoming has about half a million.

Actually talking about one of the representatives questioning at today's hearings.

But I suppose to protect an imbecile, one must become an imbecile.

He's having a perfectly normal week. Just one of those perfectly normal weeks where your staff abruptly cancels your entire schedule and rushes your obese 73 year old ass to a doctor for four hours of perfectly normal unplanned tests. And then a perfectly normal day after where they announce that your schedule for the day has a single item (lunch with the man who would succeed you if anything happened to you) and nothing else.

All just very much perfectly normal.

With these clowns, abnormal has become the new normal.

He even had to have the official White House twitter account do his real-time witness intimidation for him.

That must've been disappointing for him.

Yeah, I mean, if motherfucker had to delegate his favourite part of the job, that means he must be really ailing.

    Here's hoping he croaks soon.

So, basically, my wanting Trump to be killed dead made Crappity join the choir invisible? Go figure!

Lost it, but I saw a great tweet. Something like:

Nunes: I am so sorry that you will be forced to endure having your character viciously attacked in this hearing--

    Sondland: Trump did a crime.

    Nunes: --by me.
