Trying to get the 'new grifters' back into gear. We got a decent offer for a show in June but I hate cramming for a show (also, I think that's too soon). I'd rather take our time and get our sea-legs back before committing to anything. That being said, I'm actually looking forward to playing live again. Probably won't happen til the Fall though.
Re: stuff to watch things with... I love my Fire Stick 4K which can watch most things easily.
But I did just hook a computer back up to the TV. I got a VPN so I could get around blackouts and watch MLB. It turns out I can also use it to watch a bunch of cool TV in the UK (BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Channel Five), Canada (CBC), Australia (ABC, but their ABC, not ours; 7+, Nine), New Zealand, etc. You can also access the international versions of Netflix, though most of the extra stuff that pops up there (Rick and Morty, the Marvel movies, for example), I already had elsewhere.
It's a lot of bang for the entertainment buck. A VPN is like $5 a month.
My dad was a cab driver. In summer, he would spend his down time waiting for clients sitting in the car with his shirtsleeves rolled up, the door half open and the windows down. Because of that, he had an asymmetrical tan: left arm dark brown, right arm regular Southern European.
S____ once wore an intricately lacey blouse to a particularly brutal sunny/hot Renaissance Festival and had the most fancy rococo boob tan/burn for weeks after that.
I'm kind of surprised that's not more of a body art thing.
Not sure if I mentioned this already, but our well-liked Mayor Bill is actually under challenge from--and I cannot believe I am typing this in 2021--a "political outsider" who wants to cut school and park budgets to give grants to job creators and hire more cops.
Y'all, I live in a quiet upscale suburb near the mall.

I hope I don't get knocked onto my ass. I hear that is common.
